Ingenient offers Microsoft® Windows® Embedded CE 6.0 BSP + TI Hardware Reference Design with TI’s DM644x Processors Based on DaVinci Technology + Multimedia Middleware and Application Software

(Ingenient www.ingenient.com) who has worked extensively with the Microsoft® Windows® Embedded CE 6.0 Beta & RTM Releases, today announced immediate availability of Microsoft® Windows® Embedded CE 6.0 on its own hardware reference designs and system solutions running on Texas Instruments Incorporated’s (TI) DM644x devices based on DaVinci technology. Ingenient’s Windows® Embedded CE 6.0 based solutions enable a multitude of new applications, including wired and wireless Windows® network projectors, IP video phone, multimedia players, network media devices and home media gateways.

The newly redesigned kernel of Windows® Embedded CE 6.0 will allow Ingenient to offer its customers enhanced multimedia, 3D imaging and networking features on embedded multimedia system solutions. Ingenient’s portable and stationary multimedia system solutions based on TI’s DM644x processors will benefit from increased performance, stability and wide-area connectivity made possible by technologies found in the latest version of the embedded OS.
